Museum Quality Restoration

Blast Off, Inc. has restored and painted many Static Displays. Blast Off Inc. is currently providing Aircraft restoration services for a historic UH-1 Model Exhibit/Artifact aircraft for the U.S. Army Aviation Museum in Fort Rucker, Alabama. The restoration is period correct, and includes restoration of the Gun System and Mounting System elements.

Blast Off restored the XH-40 aircraft, the only one of these left in the world, on display in the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker. There were four UH-1 Huey Helicopter prototypes built. All are gone except this one. Blast Off, Inc. assembled the aircraft in its original configuration.

Blast Off, Inc. has restored artifacts for display at the Women’s Army Museum in Fort Lee, Virginia, for US Field Artillery Museum at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, for NASA Air Force Space and Missile Museum in Cape Canaveral, Florida, National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida, the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia, G-3 Aviation Museum in Fort Rucker, Alabama, Fort Benning, Georgia, Fort Eustis, VA, Redstone Arsenal, White Sands Missile Range, NM. and Malstrom AFB Museum, Montana.

Blast Off, Inc. restored and painted Navy Blue Angel and USAF Thunderbirds static Displays for the Cleveland National Airshow Charitable Foundation, the City of Pensacola Florida, and the Florida Department of Transportation. Blast Off, Inc. restored F-1CFury and the T-28 Trojan static Displays located at Evergreen Airport-Middleton Field, for the City of Evergreen, Alabama. Blast Off, Inc. restored and repainted F-15 and F-16 Static Display Aircraft at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, two F-102 Static Displays at Volk Field, for Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, a C-47 Static Display and a B-52 Static Display Aircraft at Fairchild Airpark, Washington, a high-profile “KC-135” on static display for NASA Johnson Space Center at Ellington Field, Texas, four static displays at Beale AFB, in California.

Blast Off

Blast Off, Inc. set up and installed a Portable Maintenance Facility (PMF), at Guntersville Airport for strip and paint of H-60A Aircraft.

Blast Off, Inc. installed a PMF at San Antonio Airport for M7 Aerospace to strip C7 aircraft.

Blast Off, Inc. installed a PMF, stripped and painted MH-60S aircraft and UH-1 Huey Aircraft for the PAE Government Services Group, at Anderson AFB, Guam.

Blast Off, Inc. installed a PMF, stripped and repainted AH-1W and UH-1 Aircraft for U.S. Navy at H-1 IMP site M CBH Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

During 2012 thru 2014, Blast Off, Inc. completed the strip and paint of four H-60 Sea Hawk aircraft located at MCBH, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

Blast Off, Inc. set up a PMF, stripped and painted HH-60 Black Hawk, S-70A Egyptian Black Hawk, and UH-60 Columbian Air Force Black Hawk aircraft for Sikorsky Aircraft Services at Chase Field, in Beeville, Texas.

Blast Off, Inc. set up a PMF at Sikorsky Aircraft in Troy, Alabama to strip and paint H-60 Aircraft.

Blast Off, Inc. set up a PMF, stripped and painted an “AH-1 Whiskey Cobra” at NAS China Lake, CA. for Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.

Blast Off, Inc. set up a PMF at Sierra Nevada Corporation in Colorado, to strip and paint an RB-57 Aircraft.
